The Full Story

About Us

Queens for Recovery aims to educate the student body and the greater Kingston community on the opioid crisis and the mental health stigma surrounding it, fostering awareness, compassion, and active involvement in drug misuse prevention and related initiatives. We also aim to create meaningful social opportunities that enrich university life and build a supportive community in solidarity with those affected by addiction. Our club operates entirely on a non-profit basis, and any funds from membership fees, grants, or events are dedicated solely to advancing our objectives and supporting partner charities, such as Families for Addiction Recovery and Drug Free Kids Canada.
